DYNO E-5 is a detonator sensitive, small diameter, water resistant, packaged, “permissible” emulsion explosive formulated to meet the requirements of the Mine Safety and Health Administration for use in underground coal mines. High detonation velocity and bulk strength make DYNO E-5 suitable for blasting coal “off the solid” as well as for blasting undercut-coal seams containing hard binders. DYNO E-5 is packaged in paper convolute shells.
DYNOSPLIT AP is a detonator sensitive, continuous, packaged emulsion explosive product that is specifically designed for underground perimeter control applications such as prespliting and trim blasting. DYNOSPLIT AP does not utilize either an internal or attached external detonating cord trace making it an all-purpose, water resistant, cost effective emulsion product for this application. The continuous explosive column provides consistent borehole pressure along the entire loaded borehole zone resulting in a uniform tensile shearing effect. DYNOSPLIT AP is one continuous single cartridge and can be ordered in a standard length so that cutting is not needed, making this product very easy to handle.
DYNOMIX WR is a premixed, free-flowing, limited water resistant explosive that uses a special mixture of ingredients to coat surface of the ANFO prills. This coating helps block water penetration and enables detonation in damp borehole conditions. In certain situations, DYNOMIX WR can fill the gap between regular ANFO and packaged explosive products and is available in various sizes and types of bags.
DYNOMIX is a prilled ammonium nitrate/fuel oil explosive mixture suitable for use in dry borehole conditions. It is available packaged in a variety of sizes and types of bags or delivered in bulk. For bulk delivery, it can be premixed and delivered to overhead storage bins, mixed on-site with stationary equipment and loaded into blast hole delivery trucks or mixed as it is loaded down-the-hole with specialized mobile equipment. DYNOMIX is used for quarry, surface mining, construction and underground blasting operations.
