Atlas Copco’s cable bolting rig is a fully mechanized rig for long-hole drilling and cable bolting in underground mining applications. Its unique two-boom concept makes it possible for a single operator to drill and install cable simultaneously. The rig is capable of installing cable bolts with lengths up to 25 meters. Its computerized Rig Control System, RCS, includes functions such as one-hole automatics for high productivity and fully adjustable drill parameters for optimal drill quality and drill steel economy.
