Taking on the duties of heavy off road use and big loads means a truly tough truck tire is a must, one that resists chipping and cutting while still delivering comfort and safety. That's where the EXO Grappler AWT aggressive all-terrain tire comes in with reinforced body plies and a tire compound with special wear resistance in the form of natural rubber, high strength polymers, and wear resistant materials. The variable pitch tread blocks reduce tire noise on pavement with very good scores in our testing, and the spiral stone ejectors keep the treads clear for more off-road prowess. It's a champ at expelling water out of your way via the big zig-zag circumferential grooves. The differing sidewall designs permit you to change your look from textured and aggressive to smooth and traditional.

The Dura Grappler is a light truck and SUV tire that provides excellent performance in both straight line traction and cornering in our summer testing. In our summer testing, it also excelled in preventing hydroplaning, as well as keeping road noise at bay, two qualities prized for safe and peaceful highway driving. The Dura Grappler's multi-rib pattern links the tire's tread blocks to prevent the tread from flexing, thereby increasing tread life. The big longitudinal grooves push water out of your path. The tire also has waved siping to increase wet weather traction and a dual sidewall design so you can alter your truck's look depending on which sidewall you choose.

The Terra Grappler G2 can easily be categorized as a good all-around performer for light trucks and SUVs because it seems to manage just about everything well if you're willing to forego a bit of on-road cold weather cornering. In our tests, it excelled at hydroplane resistance, while attaining "very good" scores in rolling resistance and dry cold conditions braking. It even did well in high speed driving, keeping road noise at good levels. Its coupling joints connect the treads for rigidity and long tread life, and the full depth sipes maximize the tire's ability to shed water to reduce hydroplaning. The dual sidewall design provides an aggressive fin design on one side and a more traditional sidewall on the other so you can alter your truck's look, a nice touch that allows some visual customization.

The Trail Grappler M/T tire was made for off-road performance, the 3-ply sidewall and thick rubber construction increase puncture resistance.
