Leaky Feeder
MineTracker is a proud partner of Minecom underground technology. The Minecom Leaky Feeder System uses advanced ZeroCal technology to ensure the system is balanced and makes installation and maintenance straightforward.
Leaky Feeder Tags
The Model 1980 tracking tag is part of the personnel and vehicle tracking system. The device transmits a unique ID number once per second which is received by any system reader in range and reported to the MineTracker monitoring and control system. The internal battery is rated for 1 to 2 years of operation before the unit requires replacement. Built into the unit is a “man down” button with two modes of operation. The first is an advisory condition activated a 1-4 second press. MineTracker system alerts the computer operator by displaying the information of the asset assigned to that tag. If the man down button is pressed for longer than 5 seconds it goes in to panic mode and remains locked in this state for approximately 20 minutes. In this condition the computer screen goes red and persistently displays the details of the tag in trouble.
Belling/Cage Signalling
Through use of a Leaky Feeder system, software and other communications equipment, incorporation of a Belling and voice transmission system can be set up in order to assist with shaft inspections increasing the safety of this process.VMD (Vehicle monitoring and diagnostic)

The VMD (vehicle monitoring and diagnostic) combines the functionality of a radio modem with a built-in UHF, VHF or Wi-Fi radio transceiver.
The MT-VMD is equipped with 8 buffered analog inputs, 4.0 to 4.995 vdc analog outputs, 4 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs that will switch up to 50vdc / 115mA. This makes the Mt-VMD an excellent choice for remote sensing and control applications that require simplicity, compactness and reliability.

Slack Rope
Wireless communication via leaky feeder between the Cage Unit and the Hoist Unit is arranged on a specific radio channel belonging to the Slack Rope System. Signals that will be provided through available relays include Slack Rope, Latch, Low Battery and Communication Failure.
Electronic Tag Board
Our Electronic Tag Board module allows for users of the application to view a list of all assets being tracked that can be filtered and sorted as necessary so that you know in real time who is entering or leaving your mine and who is actually in your mine. By allowing for selection of Maps and Zones from the available columns, users can easily navigate to the specific map and zone that the Asset is located in using Real Time Location module. In addition, on-screen pop ups and sounds notify users of the changed status of any asset that is being tracked as soon as they enter or exit the mine.
