Shotcrete
Shotcrete is concrete that is pneumatically conveyed through a nozzle and placed at a high velocity on to a surface. Shotcrete is not a product; it is a process for placing concrete. It is possible to place shotcrete using the dry-mix process, wherein most of the mixing water is added in close vicinity to the nozzle, or the wet-mix method wherein all of the ingredients, including water, are mixed before introduction into the delivery hose. In the case of wet-mix shotcrete, velocity is achieved through the addition of air at the nozzle. The shotcrete products offered by KING are concrete materials specifically designed for either the dry-mix or wet-mix shotcrete process.
