Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Technical and Sales Support 

To assist the customer in choosing the most appropriate product for their needs we can provide, on request, technical specifications, Material Safety Data Sheets, advice on equivalence to other products, and application advice. Our services in this respect are advisory, and we cannot take legal or financial responsibilities in the unlikely event of an error. 

 

2. Pricing 

Prices are published in our current Price List and do not include GST/HST. While every effort is made to give as much notice as possible of any changes, the prices are subject to change without notice. 

 

3. Freight Terms 

Orders will be shipped FOB the nearest Jet-Lube warehouse location as best as can be accommodated. If stock is not available at the nearest warehouse location it will be shipped FOB our Edmonton, Alberta manufacturing facility unless other arrangements are agreed upon prior to shipment. 

 

4. Minimum Order Value and Quantity 

The minimum order for products shipped on open invoice is $50.00. Products shipped in less than full-case quantities will be billed at list price. 

 

5. Placement of Order 

To prevent incorrect supply, customer orders need to contain the following information so they can be properly processed - company name and location; customer order reference; product trade name or Jet-Lube stock code; quantity; package size; shipping destination; shipping carrier; person placing the order; telephone number and/or e-mail address.

 

6. Cancellations and Variations 

Orders can be cancelled or changed at any time prior to shipment without additional charge. If an order has been shipped it can be cancelled or reduced according to the terms for Returned Merchandise. Additions to orders that have been shipped will be treated as new orders. 

 

7. Returns Policy 

Return privilege is given on Jet-Lube products if received in good order, but subject to the following conditions: No material will be accepted for return without our express permission. When permission is given, materials which were delivered as ordered must be returned FOB our Edmonton facility, and will be subject to a 10% restocking charge if it is in saleable condition. Products in damaged containers will be subject to an additional recontaining and improvement charge. No credit will be allowed on material which in our opinion is beyond salvage, i.e. opened pails contaminated with dirt, foreign matter, water, etc. 

 

8. Payment Terms 

Terms of payment are Net 30 days from the date of invoice. Interest of 18% per annum may be charged on overdue accounts.

 

9. Packaging 

All products are shipped in non-refundable containers. 

 

10. Limited Warranty 

Jet-Lube of Canada Ltd. makes the Limited Express Warranty that at the date of delivery our products shall be free from defects in Jet-Lube of Canada Ltd. materials and workmanship. This Limited Express Warranty is expressly in lieu of any other express or implied warranties, including an implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and of any other obligation on the part of Jet-Lube of Canada Ltd. The sole remedy for breach of the Limited Express Warranty shall be the refund of the original purchase price. All other liability is negated and disclaimed, and Jet-Lube of Canada Ltd. shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, injury or death.

 

11. Quality and Certification 

Jet-Lube products are manufactured under the control of the ISO 9901:2000 Quality Management System that includes full batch traceability.
