Discount Car and Truck Rentals Forms Global Partnership with Europcar to Make International Vehicle Rentals Easier Than Ever

TORONTO (NOV. 5, 2013) - Discount Car and Truck Rentals Ltd., one of Canada’s largest vehicle rental companies, and the only one owned and operated by Canadians, announced a new alliance today with Europcar, a car rental network operating in more than 130 countries.

 

Under this new partnership, Discount Car and Truck Rentals will provide customers across Canada with fast and convenient access to one of the largest rental car outlets located in Europe, Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

 

In addition to giving travellers access from Canada to Europcar's international network, Discount Car and Truck Rentals, with nearly 300 locations across Canada, will also serve Europcar customers from around the world who are seeking vehicle rentals in Canada.

The Discount-Europcar partnership will allow travellers departing from Canada to reserve vehicles through Discount’s website for Europcar’s network of outlets operating in cities, towns, airports and train stations around the globe. International customers of those outlets will also have instant access to Discount locations and will be able to make reservations for Discount vehicles across Canada.
