International Montoro Conducts Soil Sampling at Chuchinka Project

Nov 18, 2014

International Montoro Resources Inc. announced it has contracted UTM Exploration Services of  Smithers, B.C. to conduct a geochemical soil sampling program on a portion of its 2,268 ha. Chuchinka-Rare Earth Element (REE) project.

This sampling program will increase the data base for the area compiled from a sampling program conducted on the Wicheeda property by the 'University of Victoria -School of Earth & Ocean Sciences', and 'the B.C. Ministry of Energy and Mines, Victoria, B. C. The results are contained in a report  titled 'Fine-tuning stream sediment chemistry and indicator mineral methodology in exploration for carbonatite-related REE targets, Wicheeda Lake, B.C.' by Duncan A.R.Mackay and George J. Simandl - Geofile 2014-06. For further details on this study, contact George.simandl@gov.bc.ca

The sampling grid area approximately 1200m x 500m was chosen from the radiometric survey map created by Aeroquest and interpreted by Intrepid Geophysics in October 2010. The grid has been selected to target the eastern map component of the original grid previously sampled by Electric Metals, and is on strike (northwest-southeast trend) with Spectrums mag high to the southeast. For further information on the Spectrum Mining -Wicheeda REE discovery you can review our website at www.MontoroResources.com and the Chuchinka property page
