Air Liquide Canada, a subsidiary of the Air Liquide Group, a world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and health, and its employees donated more than $40,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) of Canada following a major Canada-wide campaign.

ALC employees raised the funds by taking part in some 20 JDRF Ride for Diabetes Research events. Furthermore, the teams from head office in Montreal earned special recognition from JDRF for their first-time participation and strong results in the 2014 Montreal Ride.

Adam Peters, President and CEO of Air Liquide Canada, said “I am very proud of our employees, who voluntarily came together and raised more than $20,000 to help the thousands of Canadians living with type 1 diabetes. Air Liquide Canada has matched the amount of this donation, in recognition of our employees’ generosity and to support JDRF in its research to conquer diabetes.”

Each year, Air Liquide Canada and its employees conduct a nationwide fundraising campaign in support of a cause related to the health of Canadians.
