Kanlan Attachments

Made By Professionals, For Professionals

Kanlan Attachments

For years, Kanlan Attachments have been the choice of contractors in the snow removal business.  Kanlan Attachments are made by professionals, for professionals, at MacLean Engineering’s Owen Sound, Ontario facility.  MacLean Engineering currently employs over 500 people worldwide.  Application specific machines for extreme environments are our strength.

Design

Kanlan Attachments are designed and developed using the latest, state-of-the-art software. MacLean Engineering models each attachment using SolidWorks’ latest 3D design software; the same process we use in developing all MacLean Engineering products, providing our customers with rugged, durable attachments that last.

Manufacturing

Kanlan Attachments are manufactured in MacLean Engineering’s 50,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility located in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada.  All MacLean Engineering manufacturing facilities feature advanced equipment such as computer aided plasma burn tables, CNC milling machines, and brand new blast and paint booths.

Paint

Kanlan's heavy-duty paint process consists of a steel shot media blast followed by a liquid primer and paint application. The process starts in a fully enclosed blast booth which removes all the scale, as well as prepares the surface for optimum paint adhesion. Next, the items are transferred to a temperature controlled spray booth where we apply 4 coats of primer and paint to all of our attachments.  After that, all items are force dried in the booth before further processing.

Proven Manufacturing

Kanlan Attachments is a division of MacLean Engineering, a privately owned Canadian company specializing in designing, engineering, manufacturing, and marketing quality mechanized equipment serving customers in the Underground Mining industry as well as Commercial and Municipal sectors. Over the years, MacLean Engineering's commitment to supplying customers with quality machines designed to operate safely and reliably in extreme conditions, coupled with industry leading customer support, has produced a loyal customer following including some of the most respected names in the Hardrock Mining industry.
