ECO Technologies is a company which specializes in excavation and cleaning work in marine settings from the shore to a depth of 15 feet (see data sheet). The firm is also known for its work in preventing river jams in the winter, by breaking up ice surfaces or removing ice jams or other materials. Finally, ECO Technologies lays pipelines in wetlands such as marshes and closed basins.

Our operations include digging and dredging channels; pumping marine bed sediments in and around harbours; pumping and cleaning industrial and municipal lagoons; decontaminating and restoring wetlands and riversides (estuaries, basins, industrial and municipal lagoons). During the cleaning operation, pollutants are removed, processed and stored in geo tube bags to dry them before transporting the material.

In winter, we prevent ice jams on water courses through preventive ice breaking. The Amphibex, an amphibious general purpose excavator can easily break up an ice cover over 24 inches thick. All our procedures are carried out in such a way as to respect nature and minimize environmental impacts. We are one of the few firms in Canada to offer such a diversified service.
