President and CEO, John Patterson founded WORD International, World of Rock Drills, in 2006 after an extensive working career in the rock drilling industry. Although WORD International lends its name primarily to the sale of rock drilling attachments worldwide, WORD also underlies the mission, vision and values of this company and it’s founder. John is a dedicated Christian and has founded this company on the principles and truths of the Word of God.
 

We realize that our clients are paid for the work they preform, therefore our goal is to provide the most cost effective drilling equipment available on the market and the least cost per foot drilled.
 

Our desire is to seek mutually beneficial business transactions where all parties come out ahead. The commitment and faithfulness of our clients ensure a long-term success forecast. Our clients are important to us. We intend to keep them coming back for that specialized customer service that the big corporation just cannot offer.
 

WORD International is a family owned and operated business.  Lisa Patterson is the matriarch and amazing CFO/do-it-all lady around the shop. She and John have joyously survived 28 years of marriage and raising 5 children.
 

Alex Patterson is their eldest child. Alex is married with 2 small (extremely adorable) children. He served 4 years in the United States Army in the Airborne Infantry and 3 tours in Iraq as a Sniper. He’s right on target when it comes to your sales and service needs.
 

Next in the service department we have, Clayton Durham. He is our hysterical, mustache man with a plan for all your service needs! He is an incredibly talented musician and a North Carolina native. He came to work at WORD in May 2012 and is a great addition to the WORD crew. 
 

Paige Patterson is their eldest daughter. Paige graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a double major in Business Marketing & Hospitality and Tourism Management. She speaks fluent Spanish, along with John, and she is sure to keep you on your toes in the purchasing and marketing department.
 

Charlie Patterson is their middle son and is a veteran of Charlie the United States Army. Charlie served a one-year tour in Afghanistan and is a certified Large Engine & Diesel Mechanic. Charlie recently joined the service department in December when he discharged from the Army.

 

Our intention and desire is to see you profitable as a company, as you cannot continue in business without that. We are a small family operation ready to help you in any way that we can. We love our customers and truly wish for them to succeed. Our prayer is to live in eternity with those we know and love. There is eternity for everyone, but Jesus Christ gave us the free choice of where we would choose to spend it.
