Their smooth texture and impact absorption characteristics, combined with an ability to withstand temperatures up to 1000°F, provides aluminum with unparalleled protection from damage through the demanding extrusion handling process.
Aluminum extrusion is complex. From the extrusion press, hot and malleable metal travels through a series of unique handling systems, each designed to cool and transport the sensitive aluminum profiles to various post press processes.

ENDLESS BELTS
Our premium quality endless belts are counted on by the aluminum extrusion industry. Their truly endless design means there are no seams to fray or joints to separate, ensuring consistent protection and an extremely long lifespan. They’re produced under tension using an endless needlepunch process to offer minimal stretch and extreme durability at a range of temperatures.
Our endless belts are available in a variety of different styles and thicknesses to match the temperature and size requirements of your handling system.
Premium base coatings are available on the bottom side of the belt for enhanced wear protection and traction on drive rollers. Other options include v-guides, timing and chain drive belting.

FELT PADS & STRIPS
Our Defender™ felt pads are used in place of graphite on lead-out tables, conveyors, lift over arms and walking beams to protect surface finish and minimize marking. They’re available in a variety of high and low temperature felts in various thicknesses to suit your needs, in rolls or as cut pieces. Coatings and PSAs are available on most styles.
Aluminum extrusion is a primary industry we serve, however, Albarrie supports a wide range of markets and applications. It doesn’t matter how simple or demanding your application is, Albarrie‘s felt pads can make your industrial processes more efficient. For example, our white Nomex ® sublimation felt pad meets the high temperature requirements of sublimation printing. Heat transfer images onto ceramic tiles, ornaments, mugs, t-shirts, glass cutting boards, and items with bevelled edges.
