Jun 19, 2020

We have a very active and vibrant arts and culture community in Thunder Bay. Guided by the Culture Plan, we support the growth of this area and invite you to get involved.

Check out our Arts and Heritage Awards that showcase local talent, learn more about the activities at the Baggage Building Arts Centre, view the City's art collection or explore public art in Thunder Bay. We also engage artists and acquire works of art through a variety of established processes, including Calls to Artists.

The vitality of Thunder Bay's arts and heritage community is celebrated through a variety of performances, programs, exhibitions, festivals and events year-round. From provincial and national sporting championships, to the Blues Festival, National Aboriginal Day and Festa Italiana, Thunder Bay loves to celebrate the best of music, culture and sport.
