We offer an extensive automotive warranty for the services performed on your vehicle.
Who is eligible?
You are eligible for the benefits of this warranty if you are the registered owner or lessee (both of which are referred to in this warranty as the "Owner") of the vehicle that any Fountain Tire store (the "Fountain Tire Store") has performed work on.
Who offers this warranty?
The Fountain Tire Store that performed the original or warranty work will offer this warranty provided you are less than forty (40) kilometres from the Fountain Tire Store that performed the original work or warranty work. In the event you are forty (40) kilometres or more from the Fountain Tire Store that performed the original or warranty work, this warranty will also be honoured by any other Fountain Tire Store in Canada where such services and/or parts are available.
What is covered by this warranty?
The particulars of all original and/or warranty work that was performed by any Fountain Tire Store shall be specified in the invoices, including copies, that are on file at the Fountain Tire Store that performed the original and/or warranty work. These invoices shall be deemed to be the sole original invoices for the purposes of this warranty.
In the event that the Fountain Tire Store(s) that performed the original and/or warranty work do not have the original invoice(s) or a copy in its records and, the Owner provides these original invoice(s), the original invoice(s) provided by the Owner shall be deemed to be the original(s) for the purposes of this warranty.
Labour
In the event that any vehicle that had mechanical labour performed as part of the original work done by any Fountain Tire Store fails to perform satisfactorily, as determined in the sole discretion by the Fountain Tire Store performing the warranty work, within ninety (90) days from the invoice date contained in the invoice for the labour in question, the labour that was part of this original work will be corrected at no charge. All labour that is provided under this warranty shall carry a further ninety (90) day warranty, upon the same terms and conditions contained in this warranty, from the date the warranty work was performed as noted in the warranty work invoice.
Parts
In the event that any of the parts that were part of the original work provided by any Fountain Tire Store fail to perform satisfactorily, as determined in the sole discretion of the Fountain Tire store performing the warranty work, within twelve (12) months from the date contained in the invoice for the original work, the parts that were part of the original work will be replaced at no charge. Any part(s) that are replaced under this warranty shall carry a further one-year (1) warranty upon the same terms and conditions contained in this warranty, from the date the warranty work was performed as noted in the invoice for the warranty work.
Warranty Limitations
This warranty is applicable only in Canada and contains all the terms and conditions of this warranty. Because not every Fountain Tire Store performs every type of mechanical labor service, or has all the parts that form part of the original work and/or warranty work that are covered by this warranty, such mechanical labor services and/or parts are subject to availability at the Fountain Tire Store you attend for this warranty service.
In certain circumstances, mechanical services and/or parts may be sold without warranty. Where this is the case, any mechanical service(s) and/or part(s), which are not covered by this warranty, will be identified in writing in the invoice(s).
What things are not covered by this warranty?
• Vehicles used commercially
• Failure due to such causes as fire, theft, road damage, wreck, collision, poor maintenance, negligence, or abuse
• Any additional work or modifications to the original work and/or warranty work that are performed by anyone other than a Fountain Tire Store
• Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of the vehicle, or any damages, losses, costs of any nature or claims at law or in equity, except where expressly included in this warranty
How do I obtain warranty coverage?
Every Fountain Tire Store will give its best efforts to retain your original and/or warranty work invoices for a reasonable period of time; however, in the event they cannot be found, the Owner must present the original and/or warranty invoice(s), as the case may be, in order to have this warranty coverage.
What must I pay for this warranty service?
All applicable taxes and the cost of any additional services you order at the time of the warranty work.
What are your legal rights?
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary depending upon the jurisdiction in which you reside.
