Burt Award Accepting Submissions
Second Burt Award for First Nations, Métis and Inuit Literature
Submissions for the 2nd Burt Award for First Nations, Métis and Inuit Literature are now being accepted!
Eligible manuscripts and books published between May 1, 2012 and April 30, 2014 must be submitted by publishers no later than May 1, 2014.
A First Prize of $12,000, a Second Prize of $8,000 and a Third Prize of $5,000 will be awarded to the authors of the winning titles. Publishers of the winning titles will be awarded a guaranteed purchase of a minimum of 2,500 copies to be distributed to First Nations, Métis and Inuit youth across the country.

Acting Supervisor Financial Services
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Acting Supervisor- Financial Services will support the Finance Branch with key branch activities and supervise, train, develop and support Finance Branch employees.
Accounts Payable Coordinator
- Completes three-part matching of invoices, purchase orders and proof of receipt of goods or services, verifying that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Prepares other payments supported by third party and internal documents, such as rent, utilities and non-employee and volunteer expense claims.
Manager, Forestry
The Manager, Forestry will provide support to the Director of Lands, Resources and Consultations on forestry consultations and other natural resources files.
