Schramm Recognized for Successfull Rescue Schramm CEO, Ed Breiner and Senior Technical Specialist, Jeff Roten invited to the White House to meet President Barack Obama on October 28, 2010 for the successful rescue of the 33 miners. “Breiner and Roten were congratulated personally by The President for their efforts.” |

Certificate of Appreciation from U.S. Commerce Secretary U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke presented a Certificate of Recognition to Schramm, Inc. for the role the company played in the Chile Mine Rescue. Locke presented the award to Fred Slack, Vice President Business Development at Schramm, Inc. on October 26, 2010 at the International District Export Council (DEC) Conference in Detroit. “Thanks in large part to Schramm’s T-130 rig – now dubbed “the rig heard ’round the world” – the miners were rescued two months earlier than originally planned.” – Gary Locke |
