Big Daddy
The Big Daddy claims are held in a joint venture between Canada Chrome Mining Corporation (30%), Cliffs Chromite Far North Inc. (30%) and Cliffs Chromite Ontario Inc. (40%). Canada Chrome Mining Corporation is a 100% owned subsidiary of KWG.
Cliffs Chromite Far North Inc. and Cliffs Chromite Ontario Inc., both 100% owned subsidiaries of Cliffs have recently been purchased by Noront.
The property consists of 5 unpatented mining claims totalling 76 units covering approximately 1,209 ha, along with two single claim units (~32 hectares), each excised from two adjacent Cliffs claims.
The neighbouring claims consist of those to the north containing the Black Thor chromite deposit, (Noront), the Fancamp claims to the west, the McFaulds claims to the east and the Hornby claims belonging to KWG to the south (Figure 6).
