Boilermaking and Pressurized Tanks
Boilermaking is a specialization that consists of shaping, assembling, building, testing, maintaining, repairing and dismantling boilers, tanks, vessels, towers, heat exchangers and their respective structures.
The key tasks of boilermakers are as follows: reading plans and specifications before planning the work process; setting and operating of metal cutting and shaping machines to produce parts; adjusting and welding metal parts needed to build structures (boilers, tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, piping, etc.); building and installing boilers according to instructions; repairing and maintaining boilers; managing workforce during the production, assembly, installation and repair of metal items; supervising work by applying various control procedures.
