In early 2007, Blue Note Mining reopened its zinc, copper and lead mine (known as Restigouche). GENIVAR was awarded the mandate to dewater the mine and rehabilitate the processing facility. The key challenge was getting the facility back into service over a period of approximately 12 months. Thanks to the addition of IsaMILL grinding machines, the ore recovery rate was significantly increased compared with the historical data. Our multi-disciplinary team carried out the design, procurement, construction management, programming and commissioning work.
