Pre-employment Driver Testing

Dec 20, 2013
At Day Group, we want the best employees because we want to offer the best possible service to our customers. Prospective drivers must undergo testing before proceeding to the road test. The Simulator test consists of various aggressive scenarios to ensure that the driver is competently qualified.

Our Instructors observe skills such as:
• Shifting
• Backing
• Collision avoidance
• Decision making skills
• Ability to anticipate hazards
• Aggressive driving behaviours

The Driver Simulator elicits true driver behaviour - whatever the prospective employee is doing while at the Simulator is a reflection of driving habits in a real vehicle.

From the pre-employment testing, successful candidates proceed to the retention level and join our ongoing training programs.
