Constance Lake First Nation is a member of the Matawa Tribal Council and the Nishnawbe-Aski Nation.  It is governed by a Chief and six Councilors who are elected every two years.  To help to streamline administrative and political functions, Councilors are assigned various portfolios for programs which they are responsible for overseeing.

Cultural Support Band Representative

Under the Direct Supervision of the Band Representative, the Cultural Support Worker is responsible for promoting and ensuring that families receiving child welfare services are delivered in a manner which is both respectful of and congruent with the culture of Constance Lake First Nation. 

Community Support Band Representative

Under the direct supervision of the Community Band Representative, Constance Lake First Nation requires a Community Support Band Representative for Child Welfare to advocate/represent registered/affiliated with First Nation members that are involved with any/all Child Welfare Agencies throughout Canada. 

Band Representative Office Assistant

Under the direct Supervision of the Community Band Representative, the Band Representative Assistant will provide assistance to the Band Representative Program in prevention, intervention awareness and administrative services to the community members of Constance Lake First Nation.
