Civil Engineering and Structural Framing

Aug 19, 2015

The creation of steel structures consists of producing metal parts in factories, which will be assembled to form a building structure. The erection or installation of the parts follows a logical order. The parts are installed one by one using a crane. At this stage, workers stand on elevating platforms. It may also be necessary to reinforce existing structures; this requires welding, new openings and the dismantling of existing frames. Most of this work has to be done at height.
