MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co. Limited was founded in 1973 by Don MacLean, a professional mining engineer. Today, MacLean Engineering continues to grow under his ownership. Don and the entire MacLean Engineering team remain focused on developing industry leading equipment that encompasses safety, reliability and productivity.

Over the years MacLean Engineering's commitment to continuous improvement underground has lead to a broadened product offering that now includes Ground Support, Ore Flow Facilitation [O.F.F.], Utility Vehicles and Drilling equipment.

As MacLean Engineering's underground mining product line-up expanded, so too did its Customer Support Group. In order to remain close to its customers, MacLean Engineering now operates facilities in Val-d'Or, Quebec, Sudbury, Ontario, Thompson, Manitoba, Creighton, Saskatchewan, Phalaborwa, South Africa and Perth, Australia. Each of these locations is stocked with the right combination of people and parts. Diversified Products

In 2008, MacLean Engineering diversified by entering into a completely new business segment. The MacLean MV [Municipal Vehicle] is the perfect solution for both Commercial and Municipal sectors looking for vehicle to carry a large variety of attachments for multi-functional purpose. The MacLean MV utilizes a wide range of Snow Removal Attachments in the winter, and then converts to Grounds and Road Maintenance applications in the summer.

In an effort to further support the MacLean MV, MacLean Engineering acquired Kanlan Attachments. Under MacLean Engineering, Kanlan Attachments still designs and manufactures a uniquely comprehensive range of attachments. When combined, the MacLean MV with Kanlan Attachments becomes the ultimate machine for all seasons.
