HudBay Minerals Inc. - Trout Mine & 777 Mine
Located in Northern Manitoba, Trout and 777 Mines are owned and operated by HudBay Minerals Inc.
Cementation crews have been involved in development of the main access ramps; including, excavation of the declines, development of the production levels, ventilation raise excavation with raise climbers, and associated construction. At the Trout Mine Cementation has worked on sill pillar recovery work, longhole drilling, mucking as well as some contract mining.
Kinross - Lupin Mine
Aurora Quarrying had carried out work at the Lupin Mine, in the Arctic, since the early 1980's. With Cementation's acquisition of Aurora, the company established a foothold in the North. When the contract mining came out for tender, Cementation was successful in securing the contract based on experience in the North, our people, and an excellent safety record. The mining contract included all underground operations. The project was carried out successfully with production targets and costs met, and an excellent safety record.
Xstrata Nickel - Fraser Mine
Cementation has maintained a presence at Xstrata's Fraser Mine since 1999. Over the years work has included track and trackless development, mechanized raising, mine reconditioning and construction, and contract mining.

Cementation is currently engaged in the grouting program as well as long hole drilling and development of ore headings at the Hope Bay Project, which is located in the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut.
In coordination with other crew members the Millwright is responsible for performing mechanical repairs and routine planned maintenance on a variety of fixed plan installations.
The Lead Electrician will be expected to work on the tools to complete the installation and commissioning of conveyor belts, including the services and utilities required for the conveyors, including, but not limited to services (power, fire suppression, controls, etc) required for the conveyors.
In coordination with other crew members the Hoist Operator follows job procedures and regulations to perform the assigned tasks.
The Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanical Leader is expected to perform preventative maintenance and repairs as required to surface and underground, mobile and stationary equipment.
