Our crane mat design enables stable ground to follow operations, ensuring there is always a safe base to work from, other features with our hardwood crane mats include:
  • Optional notched or cabled ends
  • Constructed with standard sawn 8”x8”, 10”x10” or 12”x12” timbers
  • Built with premium #2 and better lumber
  • Heavy duty countersunk bolts
  • 1” rods, 1 1/4” rods available for extra reinforcement
 
Easy Maneuverability

Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician (Shop & Field work)

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for providing the maintenance and services needs of all Northern Mat & Bridge equipment. 

Mat Plant Labourer

Reporting to the Plant Manager & Plant Supervisor, the Mat Plant Labourer is responsible for the production in their area of the mat plant facility.

Shuttle Operator – DZ License Required

Reporting to the Field Supervisor, the Shuttle Operator provides support in the field with a shuttle vehicle.

Field Supervisor

Reporting to the General Superintendent, the Field Supervisor leads and provides support in the field to assigned projects.
