The drinking water world has evolved significantly since the Walkerton Tragedy in 2000. Story Environmental Inc. offers the following services to the drinking water treatment industry while ensuring compliance with Ontario Regulation 170/03, Drinking Water Systems, and Ontario Regulation 319/08, Small Drinking Water Systems:

• Engineering Evaluation Reports for small and large drinking water treatment systems;

• Design of Small Drinking Water Treatment systems for small year-round;

• Residential systems and designated facilities;

• Troubleshooting the performance of small and large drinking water treatment

• Systems including jar testing;

• Jar testing to determine the best treatment regime to reduce the concentration of trihalomethanes; determine the best coagulant and/or flocculant dosages for a drinking water treatment system is adequate;.

• Preparation of Operatiing Manuals;

• Engineering of small capital upgrades (i.e., additional mixing, change of treatment chemicals, addition of new treatment chemical addition systems) for large drinking water treatment plants;

• Preparation of Environmental Compliance Approval applications for upgrades or new facilities;

• Municipal Class Environmental Assessments;

• Analysing monitoring data to identify problems with the flow or treatment chemistry and to determine the most feasible solution;

• Lead Sampling;

• Operator training for routine field analyses, sample collection, and jar testing.
