Dissolved heavy metals monitoring

Dissolved heavy metals monitoring in real-time

EHP-METAL monitoring station can continuously measure small dissolved heavy metal concentrations in water. The measurement is based on voltammetric measurement technology which enables the detection of very low, ppb (μg/l) concentrations. The measurement works without mains power and can be integrated to any EHP monitoring station – for example EHP-Environmental Buoy. The solutions has been developed to need as little maintenance as possible.

At the moment the possible dissolved heavy metals to be measured are nickel, zinc, mercury, lead and copper. Typically the solution is configured to measure one critical heavy metal.

Use for:

  • Process water monitoring and process optimization
  • Dissolved heavy metal leakage detection and alarm
  • Permit-based online monitoring
  • To replace manual sampling by online monitoring
