The goals of the Economic Development Department are to generate partnerships, develop infrastructure projects, ensure financial growth and build a strong, sustainable First Nation.

The Economic Development Training Fund

This is a limited fund designed to provide financial assistance to First Nation members for training to help overcome skill-based barriers.

Funds may be used for:

  • Top-up wages for training programs such as OTTER Program
  • Tuition fees not covered under Post-Secondary Education funding
  • Course costs such as Driver’s Education, Health & Safety
