Education
Biigtigong Nishnaabeg Endzhi-gkinoohmaading wants to ensure that each individual student is provided with a quality holistic education program that will provide the basis and encouragement for each student to achieve their fullest potential.
Biigtigong Nishnaabeg’s Education Department is composed of the following:
- Children and Family Learning Center- serving children and families from birth to school age with a variety of supports and serves ranging from daily child care to parent workshops.
- Elementary School – serving children from Kindergarten to Grade 8 by delivering a provincial and locally developed community curriculum.
- Private High School- serving any students post elementary school with independent learning credits and PLAR credit.
- Secondary School Support Program – serving students residing in the community who are attending high school in Marathon on a full/part time basis.
- Post-Secondary Support Program – serving members (both on and off reserve) requiring post-secondary assistance.
