Thyssen Mining’s multi-disciplined team of engineers, designers and quality personnel can support engineering work for all phases of a mine’s life cycle, including engineering studies, detailed engineering design for construction and engineering field support for quality control and commissioning. Our engineering staff includes Professional Engineers licensed to practice in both Canada and the United States. Every engineering project is evaluated to ensure the constructability and operability of the design and construction planning. This approach during every phase of a project is imperative to reduce overall project risk. The planning and design efforts are more efficient, require less rework and are more reliable for implementation, once the mine moves from a project status to the operational status.

Thyssen Mining’s Technical Services Group uses state of the art 3D modeling technology to complete engineering design and drafting. The immersive interaction achieved through the use of 3D models allows our engineers to confidently produce 2D engineering drawings, realistic renderings and custom animations for our projects.
