Environmental Performance
Some of our significant environmental activities include air emissions, water consumption and treatment, waste management including mine rock and tailings, conservation of energy and reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, progressive land rehabilitation, as well as spill prevention and preparedness.
• Waste to onsite landfills reduced by 17% exceeding landfill waste reduction goal of 10%.
• Water use-per- tonne of ore milled reduced by 28% exceeding goal of 1% reduction
