Exploration Potential

Nov 1, 2013

Within the Company's extensive land package extending over a linear distance of approximately 120 kilometres east of Timmins, Ontario and up to the Quebec border, SAS has the opportunity to uncover exciting new targets which could become producers of the future.

Although this area is host to numerous gold mines, thick glacial overburden provides many challenges for exploration, often masking many of the gold mines; and as such, it is believed that many more gold deposits are yet to be discovered in this region as exploration continues.

Previous exploration has identified numerous zones of gold mineralization that occur either within the PDFZ or in sub-parallel fault splays. The gold mineralization appears to be concentrated in zones of greater dilatancy, which have provided "pathways" for gold-bearing fluids to travel. Gold mineralization is typically concentrated where geologic structures crosscut rocks of varying chemical and physical properties that often behave as "traps" for the gold-bearing fluids.
