Finance Department

The Finance Department supports leadership, management, administration, committees, and businesses by providing financial reporting, accounting services, and strategic advice. The Finance Department establishes internal controls to protect the assets of the First Nation and our businesses to ensure the integrity of all the financial systems.  Accountability and transparency are facilitated to members through regular financial reporting at community meetings. The unaudited and audited financial reports are presented annually. 

 

The Finance department also provides direct support to community members in programs designed to provide advice, education and financial assistance. The role of the Community Financial Planner was established to assist community members of all ages in developing a financial plan which enables them to meet their goals and objectives.
