Chicago Pneumatic Appoints NTT as Distributor of Construction Equipment in Norway

Global construction equipment manufacturer Chicago Pneumatic has appointed Norwegian company NTT AS as an authorised distributor of its range of handheld construction tools and portable compressors.
 
Commenting on the appointment, Oddvar Linga, NTT’s General Manager said: “We had no hesitation choosing to partner with Chicago Pneumatic as they have a great reputation with construction professionals, and we know our customers are guaranteed to receive products that are both highly efficient and reliable. Chicago Pneumatic construction tools are perfectly suited for the type of markets we are trying to approach and this agreement will help us to expand our business and reach new customers.”   
 
Founded in 1959, NTT AS, based in Skien, Norway, has over 25 years’ experience providing customers with pneumatic tools and compressed air equipment from the world's leading manufacturers. Today, the company has 10 full-time members of staff, and operates two sales offices to cover its nationwide distribution network in Norway.

The agreement, signed in June this year, will see NTT distribute a range of Chicago Pneumatic products that are specifically designed to meet the needs of users in the construction sector. This includes the full Chicago Pneumatic range of portable compressors for the European market, which combine mobility, easy maintenance and reliability, and are ideally suited for construction site use. NTT will also distribute the Chicago Pneumatic range of high-performance, versatile and cost-efficient handheld hydraulic equipment and handheld pneumatic tools, including rivet busters, hammers, breakers, rock drills and saws, which are designed for use in a wide variety of demolition and construction applications. 
 
NTT AS first began working with Chicago Pneumatic in 1988, when it was appointed as a distributor of industrial tools. Following this the company went on to distribute Chicago Pneumatic stationery compressors. This new agreement represents the latest chapter in NTT’s relationship with Chicago Pneumatic, and will enable it to place even more focus on serving customers in the Norwegian construction sector.
