Soldier Socks - Ekso™ Bionic Suits
One of the most amazing sponsorships we participate in is Soldier Socks, with a commitment to provide Ekso™ Bionic Suits to paralyzed veterans. The Ekso Suits' cutting-edge rehabilitation technology literally helps get our heroes “back on their feet”. One of the recipients of this suit was Dan Rose, a retired Army sergeant who was severely paralyzed by an IUD while serving in Afghanistan.
Boulder Crest Retreat
The Boulder Crest Retreat is a rural sanctuary in Bluemont, Virginia where military warriors, with combat-stress related injuries, can bring their families and enjoy non-clinical, recreational therapeutic activities aimed at assisting with their physical, mental, financial and spiritual recovery.
Wounded Warrior Project®
The Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. The foundation serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families.
Fisher House
The Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. These homes are located at major military and VA medical centers nationwide, close to the medical center or hospital they serve.
Valour Place
Valour Place is located in Edmonton, Canada, and is known as a “home away from home” where veterans and their families can stay free-of-charge while they receive medical treatment at a nearby hospital.
Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities
Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities (ECAD) mission is to enable people with disabilities to gain greater independence and mobility through the use of specially educated dogs. With training facilities in Connecticut and New York, ECAD has placed Assistance Dogs in over a dozen states, including the placement of extraordinary dogs to US service men and women who have been injured in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
Operation Homefront
Operation Homefront has provided emergency and other financial assistance to thousands of military families nationwide since its inception in 2002, with 92% of their expenditures going directly to programs that provide support to military families. One Operation Homefront program of highlight is Homes on the Homefront, which gives donated homes to service members and their families.
