Grader Program
The grader prepares surfaces from a rough grade to fine finishing, as well as, snow removal. Used in the construction and maintenance of roads, parking lots, and airport runways.
The grader program at OETIO, approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005, is 240 hours over 6 weeks and includes, classroom, laboratory activities and hands-on training with emphasis on practical operating skills on a grader. Students will take the 2 week Fundamentals of Heavy Equipment followed by 4 weeks of practical field training.

- One piece of equipment dedicated to each student
- 162 hours of seat time
- Practical Ratio: 1 instructor to a maximum of 6 students
