Health and Safety – MINING Programme
Developed and coordinated by IBRAM, the Special Occupational Health and Safety in Mining (MINING) programme assists companies from the mineral sector to reduce the number of occupational accidents.
The programme aims to promote prevention through the implementation of various initiatives focused on reducing the main occupational health and safety risks detected in the mineral sector. The MINING programme comprises the creation of risk management systems, specific training, exchange of best practices, and the development of databases with statistics on specific accidents in the sector, amongst others.
