The new Brunswick House Health Centre opened it's doors in February 2010. This new centre offers services to the band membership in areas of medical transportation, alcohol and substance abuse, counselling referrals, young mothers, diabetis clinics and elder's assistance.

Services and Programs
 
Aboriginal Healthy Babies Healthy Children (HBHC) 
 
  • Supports for pregnant women and families with children 0-6 years
  • Home visits by nurses and other home visitors help expectant and new parents with having a healthy pregnancy and birth, breastfeeding, nutrition, child development, and being a parent
 
Community Health Nurse  
 
  • Provides weekly in-home nursing visits to community members who qualify
  • Promotes community and public health
  • Supports the delivery of holistic programs and services within the community
  • Focuses on promoting health, preventing disease and injury and protecting population health
 
Crisis Intervention 
 
Provides crisis intervention services to people affected by family violence and suicide such as:
  • immediate on site or telephone assistance
  • dispatches call to police when deemed necessary
  • provides support and assistance to ensure victims safety
  • coordinates crisis plan
  • offers information sessions and workshops
  • provides advocacy
 
Diabetes Education Program  
 
  • Information about living with diabetes
  • Includes monitoring blood sugar levels, food choices, exercise, medications, and lifestyle choices
 
Family Well-being
Ensure the best interests, protection and well being of children and their families
 
Home and Community Care  
 
  • Supports for older adults, and adults with disabilities
  • Helps people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible
  • Culturally appropriate services for Aboriginals
 
Medical Transportation Program  
Coordinates medical transportation services and assists with medical appointments in other communities (Timmins)
 
National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program (NNADAP)  
Prevention, intervention, and follow up services for people with addictions
