Through local management, health services delivery focuses on a holistic approach offering western and traditional healing choices. The complimentary relationship between the two healing traditions impacts on disease prevention, facilitation of recovery from illness and enhancement of well-being.
By concentrating on awareness, skills development, disease prevention, health promotion and community development, the individual and the community will make a personal commitment in improving the quality of life.
Service Description
Health awareness, education and prevention workshops and seminars, exercise program, doctor available one day per month through Family Health Team
Supports for older adults and adults with disabilities – helps people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible – referral to other community services
