History
Advanced Security opened its first office in Timmins in 1992.
By building relationships and capitalizing on opportunities in the mining sector, we soon expanded to more than 100 employees.
In 2011, Attawapiskat Resources Incorporated –a well-regarded First Nations economic development organization– purchased the firm. This combination of security knowledge, experience, and cultural knowledge places Advanced Security in an excellent strategic position for work in the extractive and renewable resources sectors, much of which is taking place on Aboriginal lands.
Today, we offer a full complement of uniformed security professionals who work in loss prevention, industrial security, patrol and inspection, labour disruption and surveillance. We’ve capitalized on more than twenty years of experience in the security industry to develop processes and training programs that address the unique needs of our clients.
