GENIVAR’s team of dedicated mining professionals has completed several thousand projects related to mining infrastructure, from mine water booster pumps to some of the largest headframes and hoisting systems in the world. Our services include design, procurement, and construction management for surface and underground infrastructure to support mine production and transport to surface.

GENIVAR’s mining infrastructure expertise includes: ore handling surface and underground, shaft design with fixed or rope guides, slipformed concrete and steel headframes, ground mounted and tower mounted hoists, mine ventilation intake and exhaust fans, mine air heaters, heat recovery systems, surface ore storage and haulage, shops, warehouses, offices and mine drys, sewage and water treatment plants, fire protection, substations and power distribution (surface and underground), communications and automation, and mine dewatering systems.

Our mining team consists of over 400 dedicated mining professionals supported by over 4000 designers and draftspersons of all engineering disciplines. Our teams use the latest technology to deliver our services, on time and on budget.

GENIVAR designed the administrative/service building for the Canadian Malartic project. The building includes a maintenance workshop for mobile equipment (for example the 200-ton trucks), as well as a storage area and administrative offices.
