Go for the maximum with JDLink Ultimate.
It does everything Select does, plus provides a comprehensive view of engine diagnostics, and adds monitoring of fuel consumption, gear selection, component pressure and temperature, and full-featured diagnostic-information retrieval.
Here are some reasons why Ultimate is the ultimate:
• Monitors service status and advises of scheduled maintenance.
• Empowers through the ultimate level of alerts, warnings, and location and maintenance tracking.
• Full-featured diagnostic trouble codes.
• Monitors all essential machine vitals.
• Reports to you 24/7/365.
• You can view all the data recorded and displayed by machine type on the JDLink Ultimate Data chart.
• Comes standard with three years of service on K-Series 4WD Loaders, all ADTs, 120D–870G LC Excavators, G-• Series Graders, K-Series Backhoes, K-Series Tractor Loaders, 450J and K-Series Dozers, 9R Scraper Tractors, and the 764 High-Speed Dozer.
• JDLink Ultimate is also available as an option on many other pieces of equipment. Check with your local dealer for details.
One of the many useful data charts in JDLink Ultimate is payload information for John Deere ADTs.

You can set the allowable operating times and days for a piece of equipment using the curfew feature.

You can easily draw a geofence around a machine so you can be alerted should the machine travel outside its virtual boundary.

Dual-mode option
JDLink Ultimate now offers dual-mode service via cellular or satellite communication as an option. With dual-mode, JDLink will still connect via cellular connection unless a connection cannot be established. Then, JDLink will switch over to satellite mode. A machine communicating via satellite mode will report hours, location, alerts and many other Ultimate data sets. Call-in frequency for a machine communicating in satellite mode is once per day. Red alerts and geofence violations are sent immediately, just like when in cellular coverage.

Application Programming Interfaces (API)
An Application Programming Interface (API) serves as an interface between different software programs to facilitate their interaction, similar to the way a user interface facilitates interaction between a human and a computer. APIs are a particular set of rules and specifications that software programs can follow to communicate with each other. A collection of APIs is a toolkit. APIs can be used to integrate JDLink data into your business system.
Two John Deere API toolkits are available. Both of the Deere API toolkits require integrators to sign a John Deere licensing agreement.
Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) API
Industry telematics standard supported by Deere and other telematics providers. The AEMP API provides basic data that includes:
• Equipment: Make, model, equipment ID, and equipment serial number
• Location and elevation
• Machine hours (cumulative)
• Fuel consumed (last 24 hours)
JDLink Business APIs
John Deere-specific-API advanced feature set that includes:
• Maintenance history and current status
• Historical data
• Equipment summary: Location, run hours, make, model, and equipment ID
• Alert summary: Geofence, curfew, and sensor
• Fuel consumed (last 24 hours)
• Equipment groups
• Curfew
• Geofence
