Kunuwanimano Child and Family Services

Kunuwanimano Child and Family Services is an organization that values children and is respectful and sensitive to their needs.
 
Our mission is to work collaboratively with our First Nations members to ensure the safety and well-being of children is secured by strengthening, supporting and encouraging the healthy development of families. We are committed to providing services in a manner that is holistically and bi-culturally appropriate for our First Nations.

The programs take into consideration the best interests and well being of the child, specifically the programs that recognize the uniqueness of First nation’s culture, heritage and traditions of preserving a child’s cultural identity.

Cultural Support Band Representative

Under the Direct Supervision of the Band Representative, the Cultural Support Worker is responsible for promoting and ensuring that families receiving child welfare services are delivered in a manner which is both respectful of and congruent with the culture of Constance Lake First Nation. 

Community Support Band Representative

Under the direct supervision of the Community Band Representative, Constance Lake First Nation requires a Community Support Band Representative for Child Welfare to advocate/represent registered/affiliated with First Nation members that are involved with any/all Child Welfare Agencies throughout Canada. 

Band Representative Office Assistant

Under the direct Supervision of the Community Band Representative, the Band Representative Assistant will provide assistance to the Band Representative Program in prevention, intervention awareness and administrative services to the community members of Constance Lake First Nation.
