Lands and Membership
Dokis First Nation is a progressive community focused on building a healthy and thriving economy. The Lands Department works to promote and protect Dokis First Nation’s lands and resources. The department provides advice and support to the leadership and various departments and also work in conjunction with other service providers to offer comprehensive services. Some of the services the Lands Department assists with include:
- Lands Transactions
- Leasing
- Surveys
- Species at Risk
- Environmental Management
- Forestry
- Land Use Planning

Membership staff have the responsibility of recording, registering and reporting on the demographics of the Dokis First Nation membership. In addition to filing forms for birth, marriage and death, staff also assist Dokis First Nation members with wills, estates, powers of attorney and living wills. Finally, the Membership staff section includes Address Updates, Estates, Gas Cards and Status Cards.
Mailing Lists
Dokis First Nation retains mailing lists of Dokis First Nation members for the purpose of communicating with the membership. It is your responsibility to ensure that your address is updated with our office.
