Collège Boréal awards its 2019-2020 Excellence Awards to its staff

On Friday June 12, 2020, Collège Boréal awarded its 2019-2020 Excellence Awards to its staff at the closing meeting of the school year.
 
The Awards of Excellence are awarded in four categories to members of the Collège Boréal team who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their work and their contribution to the achievement of the college's strategic objectives.
 
The recipients of the Excellence Awards also convey the values ​​that characterize the establishment on a daily basis: excellence, humanism, respect, commitment, integrity.
 
A dedicated and committed team
 
The awards of excellence recognize each of the following categories of staff: support staff, school staff, temporary staff, and administrative staff.
 
Support staff  : Sophie Landry - Agent / researcher
 
“Sophie has an eye for detail and quality. She has greatly contributed to the development and improvement of processes within the Office of the Vice-President for Education (BVPE). College staff can trust her to research data and information that helps advance projects and strategic goals. "
 
School staff  : Paul Paiement - Computer instructor / coordinator
 
“Paul is dedicated to his program and the success of his students. Thanks to him, many of them have managed to find jobs in the IT field, and some even at Collège Boréal. Paul is distinguished by his patience, friendliness, helpfulness, and freedom. And in addition, it makes us laugh! "
 
Temporary staff  : Mireille Blanchette - Educational advisor
 
“Curious, Mireille questions everything in order to feed her thirst to learn and improve. It contributes significantly to the continuous improvement of files and the quality of programs. Her successes are a reflection of the constant effort she devotes to her work, regardless of the size of her tasks or files. "
 
Administrative staff  : Paulette Bonin - Director, Support Services in the Office of the Vice-President, Education
 
“Paulette's work is always impeccable and exceptional. When we think of Paulette, one word comes to mind: quality. In addition to being an axis of the college's strategic plan, quality is part of the college's DNA at all levels. Every day, Paulette makes an exemplary contribution to achieving this goal. "
 
From successful professional integration to loyalty to the Boréal family
 
The annual staff meeting also - for the first time - celebrated the cohort of the college education professional integration program implemented in 2008 by the Center for Leadership and Educational Innovation (CLIP) of Collège Boréal. This two-year program for beginning teachers aims to facilitate their integration into college through a series of modules around teaching strategies and practices, but also the use of educational technology.
 
Finally, at the other end of the spectrum, the Awards of Excellence are also an opportunity to mark the great loyalty of the staff and professors of the college who reach the symbolic levels of five, ten, fifteen, and twenty years of service to the college. Collège Boréal. 43 of them were thanked this year for their loyalty to the Boréal family. A special celebration will soon mark the longevity of the staff members who have been part of the college team since it opened 25 years ago.  
 
Collège Boréal also celebrated the years of service of 11 staff members who will retire during the year.

Sous la surveillance de la direction des Programmes et services en immigration et en interprétant et en respectant les lignes directrices ministérielles et les exigences du programme, la personne prévoit, planifie, coordonne et offre un programme de formation aux employés du secteur afin d’assurer la constance à travers tous les sites en ce qui concerne les procédures, la documentation et la livraison des programmes et services. 

Subject Matter Expert – Disability Management

Collège Boréal is looking for a subject matter expert with a background in disability services management, human resources.

Expert de contenu – SCIENCES INFIRMIÈRES

Le Collège Boréal est à la recherche d’une experte de contenu pour développer un programme de Baccalauréat en Sciences infirmières, y compris remplir l’outil d’établissement des correspondances des compétences d’une infirmière autorisée avec le curriculum de l’Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers de l’Ontario (OIIO) et développer des ressources préliminaires à l’appui.

CONSULTANT / CONSULTANTE - ITINÉRANT (Nipissing/Noëlville)
