COO, Geosystems
As COO of Geosystems, Josh provides strategic guidance to the Mining division as part of Hexagon’s broader industry-focused strategy. He is responsible for helping to accelerate the digitalization of business processes throughout the organization and remains integral to Hexagon’s vision of being the industry’s number one smart technology partner for integrated life-of-mine solutions. Previously Mining division President, Josh helped to unify legacy acquisitions into an integrated and highly successful business.
NICK HARE
President, Hexagon's Mining Division
Nick has been the catalyst for consecutive years of record growth, transforming the Mining division from legacy acquisitions to a balanced, integrated business. He is integral to our vision of being the number one smart technology partner for integrated life-of-mine solutions. Previously CFO and COO, Nick is well versed in all aspects of the business, leading the company's strategy and operations, driving commercial activities across regions, portfolios and shared services functions. He wields a wealth of experience in progressive managerial finance and management consulting roles.
ROB DAW
Chief Technology Officer
Rob oversees all technology and innovation teams and brings more than 15 years’ experience in the mining industry. He provides clients with efficient, reliable, and effective solutions that meet the current and future challenges of mining operators across the globe. He is passionate about working with clients to achieve operational excellence – all underpinned by his strong analytical, practical, and methodical approach to solving problems, combined with strong communication skills and industry experience.
GIANCARLO COMINI
Vice President, MinePlan & Sales Operations
Giancarlo joined Hexagon Mining in July 2016 and leads all Mine Planning software business unit and sales operations worldwide. Born and raised in Brazil, fluent in English and Italian, Giancarlo earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Industrial Management. Giancarlo began his career in leading Italian companies in industrial automation in sales management roles, overseeing South America.
HUMBERTO ASTORGA
Vice President, Financial Controlling & Manufacturing
Humberto is instrumental in mergers and acquisitions, and in leading and directing manufacturing and supply-chain organizations. He joined Hexagon Mining in 2012, bringing more than 22 years' experience from various business environments, including high-tech manufacturing startups and publicly traded corporations. He holds a BA in Business Administration with emphasis in accounting from the University of Arizona. He also holds an MBA.

Vice President, MineOperate & Global Customer Operations
Adam is focused on putting our customers at the heart of what we do in his global role, stewarding our services and support team. He is helping to drive new technologies and processes into our support organizations, making them more efficient and easier for customers to use. He is committed to transforming services into a value creator for our customers; taking the deep skill and experiences and putting them to work in the field, increasing productivity and improving safety.
RYAN HAWES
Vice President, MineProtect and Managing Director, USCA
Ryan drives the customer-centric model within the region to ensure Hexagon is the client’s trusted partner, shaping digital transformation and smart change. He brings more than 8 years’ experience of management, operations and business development within mining technology supplier companies. Working with mining companies globally, he brings an additional 10 years’ experience of mining operations and technology. He’s passionate about working with clients to define their needs, improve their operations and ensure success.
Raul Gomez
Senior Director, IT & Workplace Infrastructure
Raul joined Hexagon Mining in 2010, bringing more than 25 years in technical and management experience in Information Technology. He is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all internal IT functions across the organization globally. Raul is also responsible for all building office projects, coordinating with local management and all vendors involved during the design and building phase. He holds a BS in Information Technology and brings leadership experience from roles in Corporate IT and Product Development.
Thomas W. BoBo Jr.
Director, Business Development, Split Engineering
Tom leads the integration of Split Engineering’s fragmentation analysis technology into Hexagon’s Mining portfolio. He joined Hexagon in May 2019 after 22 years spent assisting with system sales and installations in more than 100 mines worldwide. As a founding partner in Split Engineering, he worked in real-time digital image analysis and developed automated systems for measuring rock fragmentation from mine to mill and pit to plant. Tom has an MS in Geological and Geophysical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
Brian Norton
Director, Business Operations, Split Engineering
Brian joined Hexagon in May 2019 after the acquisition of Split Engineering, the fragmentation analysis leader he co-founded in 1997. As general manager of Split Engineering, Brian was responsible for business management and authored the company’s original business plan while pursuing his MBA (Entrepreneurship/MIS) at the University of Arizona. The plan centered on imaging technology invented in the U of A’s Department of Mining and Geological Engineering. Brian has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Finance) and worked in the financial services and investment industry.

Reporting to our Software Development Manager and working closely with our development team, the Test Automation Engineer is responsible for making sure that the solutions produced by the Development Team are robust, easy to use and continue to provide value to our customers with each software release.
