MAPEI Technical Institute (MTI) provides the highest quality fundamental and advanced product knowledge seminars through in-person and hands-on training, online webinars, and continuing education units.
 
Types of training events
 
Hands-On Training
Product demonstrations and hands-on training seminars are held at the following MAPEI locations: Laval (QC), Brampton (ON) and Delta (BC). Classes in other locations may be added as needed or requested.
 
Fundamental Systems Training
An overview of product knowledge with industry standards, product demonstrations and hands-on class participation.
 
Advanced Systems Training
A strategic, innovative approach to training, development and education utilizing MAPEI specialty products and systems, along with product demonstrations and hands-on class participation.
 
Online Training
 
Our webinars contain the latest industry information distilled into short informative sessions. These educational seminars and discussions are ultimately designed to reduce jobsite downtime and increase productivity.
 
Product knowledge seminars
 
These popular one-hour sessions are based off our well-known product knowledge seminars and touch upon both fundamental principles as well as topics for more advanced system applications.
 
Industry standards training
 
Hosted by MAPEI North America technical experts, these webinars cover different topics to better understand industry standards, sustainable solutions, submittals and how they can benefit your project. These presentations are offered in English-language only.
 
 
Continuing Education Units (CEU) Program
 
Our CEU program covers a variety of topics designed to support product knowledge, industry standards and guidelines. We have more than 30 AIA and IDCEC courses available. These presentations have been vetted and approved by the leading industry organizations. Approved attendees will qualify for and receive continuing education units. Available both in-person and on-line.

Under the responsibility of the Supervisor, the position holder directs and controls the operation of the equipment he is assigned on, in the manufacturing process.

Maintenance Mechanic (apprentice)

Under the responsibility of the Maintenance Supervisor, the position holder has the responsibility of doing the repairs and maintenance of the plant’s equipments.

Sales Representative

Under the responsibility of the Business Development Manager Admixtures, the position holder fulfills the responsibility linked to sales and support of Concrete Admixture products to Ready Mix, Precast and Major Project concrete producers of his territory.

Chercheur

A Laval, sous la responsabilité du chef de groupe, le titulaire du poste travaille au laboratoire des mortiers au développement de nouveaux produits et à l’amélioration des produits existants; fournit un soutien technique à la clientèle et un soutien aux activités de la production.

Business Development Leader

Develop MAPEI’s UTT Mine Backfill business in Canada, ensuring market penetration through effective strategy development and implementation.

Quality Control Technician

In Delta, under the responsibility of the Quality Control Manager, the position holder assists the latter in his functions.
