Mayville PGE Zone

Jun 3, 2020
The Mayville PGE Zone is located approximately 1 km southeast of the Mayville Deposit. It is a zone of PGE dominant mineralization ( palladium – platinum ) with low copper nickel values. It is stratigraphically related to chromite mineralization .

The host ultramafic package strikes for about 1 km. Only part of the host stratigraphy has been tested for PGE,

Some high grade drill results have been drilled by Grid Metals. This was a new discovery made by the Company in 2011. The PGE Zone is a potential new source of feed for the Makwa Mayville Project. The higher price of palladium and the lack of bona fide PGE exploration properties make the PGE Zone a valuable asset for Grid Metals. More drilling is planned in the future.
