  • Responsible for processing Non-Insured Health Benefits Service claims and coordinating medical transportation for community members
  • Submits medical appointment travel, mileage, meal and accommodation requests on behalf of individual
  • Assists with making travel arrangements
  • Maintains client documentation, receipts and related information
  • Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community and medical appointments out-of-town in Nipigon and Thunder Bay

Under the direction of the Director of Rocky Bay Child and Family Services, the Band Representative is a highly motivated individual with exceptional advocacy skills, possessing critical knowledge of the Child and Family Services Act.

Post-Secondary Engagement Coordinator

Under the direction of the Anishinabek Nation Education Secretariat and Kinoomaadziwin Education Body joint Post-Secondary Engagement Committee (PSEC), the Post-Secondary Engagement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the ongoing development and implementation of plans associated with the joint Post-Secondary engagement work plan.
